Need help alleviating siatic pain

my siatic nerve is apparently pinched and is putting me in a lot of pain. i have been stretching it about every 4-6 hours but it isnt getting better. latelely the pain has gotten into my calf. any help is much appreciated

  1. From personal experience I know what you are going through and you have my complete sympathy. Have you been taking any anti-inflammatory's like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (Diclofenac is only available on prescription in the UK) and pain killer,like Paracetamol. Medics usually only prescribe anti-inflammatory's and painkillers for Sciatica.

    The only sure way of getting this sorted is to get your spine realigned. That is best done with Physiotherapy. If you cannot get that I'm afraid the alternative is to get private treatment from a Chiropractor. I had recurring bouts of this for twenty years and that's what I did in the end and haven't had it for two years now.
