Okay, so AF visited on 7/25. My DH and I had s*x the week of 8/3 and on 8/8 I started getting nauseous and had a metallic taste in my mouth that lasted three days but still lingers. Yesterday, by BBS starting hurting (sore?) and are still that way today. They have never been sore before. I have had little pains in my abdomen and uterus area (also not like before). Is it possible I ovulated early and am showing first signs of pregnancy? Opinions please...thanks!!!

  1. Sounds like you are pregnant.  You should take a test immediately to find out for sure.  Congratulations!!

  2. Depends some on the normal length of your cycle but yea you certainly could be pregnant but I am not sure the signs would be so quick to show.  Go get one of those "can tell real early" pregnancy tests.  Either way   Good Luck!

  3. I would say it is definantly possible! Any slight change in your body or enviorment, can make you ovulate early/late. You may just ovulated early  for no reason, just cause your ovaries felt like it. lol. The symptoms you describe  do sound alot like early preggo symptoms.  I thought I ovulated early last month cause I felt preggo/pms symptoms early(unusual for me) about two weeks later, I got heartburn, and cramping, sore BBS but AF came ONE WEEK LATE! SO FRUSTRATING! It was only 3 days so it was a very irregular period, so it just shows you that right when you think you know your cycle, it changes, it looks like yours did too, so I think I would wait until maybe the day before or the day of AF is due to get the most accurate results with an HPT. GOOD LUCK , AND TONS AND TONS OF BABY DUST!!!!!

  4. trust me drink a litlle human blood that is why ur mouth tastes metallic u need to drink some blood my girlfrined did now shes all better no wierd taste

  5. It sounds to me like you have pregnancy symptoms.  Especially the sore b*****s.  That was my main symptom.

I think you should wait until you expect your next period to start and then take a test.

    Good luck!

  6. Based on the dates given, I'm not sure if it's enough time for you to experience symptoms from this new cycle. I'm not sure when you ovulated but I suppose it's possible to ovulate early (9-10 days after AF).

I thought, however, that symptoms do not surface until implantation. And implantation usually takes anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation. (My estimation is that you are probably around 4dpo).

My assumption would be that that the symptoms that you are experiencing are due more to the fluctuation in hormones at this time.  I don't think that you will be able to obtain a definite answer this early on.  Unfortunately, you're subject to the much dreaded waiting period.

I wish you the best of luck.
