  1. You are good for a beginner!  I would lose the baseball cap, though, and you shouldn't reach out to steady your opponent.  When he gets wobbly, increase the pressure and he might go down.  : - )

    Now, getting serious:

Your neck appears stiff, and that could be one reason your defence is weak. If you have to move your torso to duck and slip, you will be too slow.

For now, try to parry and/or cover when you see the attack coming.  At least you won't get hit.  Then step to your right and wade back in.

I couldn't see your feet much, but when I did, it looked good, correct position and light on your feet.

You had a good snapping jab at the start, but after about a minute, you were pawing.  If that's due to getting tired, you need to work more on cardio conditioning.  You never got back to the snapping jab, so I think that's it.

You can use your left for more than a jab, but you don't.  You have been drilled in the 1-2.  Develop a left hook and use it in a 1-2-3.  Also, learn overhand punches.  A lead overhand right from a beginner will catch your opponent off guard.

Lastly, if you want help with defence, post a vid of you sparring rather than working the bag.

    Good luck!

  2. there is much you need to improve on grasshopper...

first things first you need to get rid of those clothes. wear shorts that fir you and don't wear a hat. would a football player wear clothing that's meant for skiing. so too boxing isn't about your ghetto style shorts below your *** and a fitted cap.

    as for your boxing...

you drop your hands and you don't return them to your face when punching. keep your hands up at all times, keep your elbows tucked when you punch, and bring your hands back to your face after punching.

your footwork is all wrong... even though you cannot see your feet it is obvious from the way your legs are moving that you are crisscrossing your feet.

If you wanna get better at something you need to learn from somebody who can teach you. go to boxinghelp.com and find a gyme neer you

  3. i've got a few tips, but they may not suit you

1:  get some shorts that don't fall down while your exercising.

2:  Your punches seemed...  blaringly obvious, especially near the end, you kept letting your hands slump right before punching.  you want to learn to punch straight out of your guard.

3:  It seemed like you had your hands a bit too close to your face, keep your hands a little further out (and keep your elbows in) with your hands so close to your face, the reason your having problem slipping may be because your destracted by your glove in your face

4:  (final one) you weren't (from what i could see) planting your feet before a punch, the power of a punch isn't in the arm, its the entire body, from the feet, up the torso into the arm, all muscles moving in unison to get the maximum power.  Without your feet firmly planted your losing a LOT of that power.

It may be best to start practicing static first (not moving) till you get your technique right, then start working in the movement factors

    Hope these tips helped.

  4. 1.) Tuck in your chin

2.) Even though the bag doesnt hit back, act as if it was therefore the speed u throw ur punches, are the same speed they should come back to ur chin

3.) ur throwing downward punches try straightening them out

4.) a lot more head and body movement because if u dont move ur basically gonna become ur opponents punching bag so make urself hard to hit

5.) Make sure ur turning ur feet when throwing stright cross and hooks and uppercuts

    6.) Be FASTER

7.) Be UNPREDICTABLE and start throwing at different angles

8.)while hitting the bag do sum slipping and blocking and parrying as if u were really fighting to get used to it because if u start getting hit in da face... everything goes out the window and u start panicing
