  1. FYI technically that is illegal, because you are violating Copyright laws, unless you own the DVD and are making a copy foir your own use.

    I know of friends that have used a program DVDFabPlatinum to do that, but only to copy the DVD's they own..

    If they are DVDs you own you legally can make backups for your own use.

    You have to bypass the copy guard. To do this you need a program like AnyDVD. AnyDVD makes the copy guard invisible and any copy program will then copy it.
