Need help buying snooker and pool cue?

i want to buy a snooker and pool cue for my best mate for thier birthday but i dont know anything about them, can someone please help me

If you have been with your friend at anytime when they have played snooker you will have some idea as to the kind of cue he selects to play with.

If you see that it is a long one or a short one that will also help in your choice -- he may have made a comment at sometime about his cue selection just try and remember if he has-- if not when you go to buy one you will find that the sellers are usually very helpful and probably can work it out for you.
