I am in the 3.5-4.0 range and play most of my game from the baseline. I have a medium to long swing and I would like a racquet that is more control-oriented than power-oriented. I like to get a lot of topspin on my forehands and my serve could use some power. Anybody know of a racquet that would suit me?

  1. Try Babolat Aeropro Cortex. With this racket you can generate lot of topspin.

  2. I would demo a few racquets from tennis-warehouse.  The racquets I would demo include the Wilson Kblade Tour (93), the Prince O3 Speedport Tour (97), the Babolat Pure Drive Cortex (100), and the Prince 03 Tour MS (95).  You really need to try a few out before making a decision.  You can't really base your decision on someone else's recommendation alone.  For $11.50, you can demo 2 racquets, and for $21 you can demo 4 racquets.

  3. before you waist all your money try some out. ask your friends to lend you theirs for a day to see the differences in the rackets.

  4. why don't you try borrowing one of your friends racket until you find the one you like. It always happens to me that i buy a racket but i like my friends better so just try that out.

  5. i'd suggest you demo the Wilson K Factor K Five 98. you might also consider Wilson K Factor K Blade series and Head MicroGEL Radical series. hope it helps :)
