Need help choosing wall paint?

I am remodeling the kitchen... I put in honey maple cabinets, light maple wood flooring and carmel / cream marble countertops. Also I have red applancies

  1. I think since you said the cabinets and flooring is light...maybe you should go a tad darker on the walls.  Maybe a nice chocolate, which would also compliment your red applicances.  If that's too drastic for you maybe a nice soft color like the inside of a malt ball candy. :-) Good luck with your kitchen redo.


  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    I think it would look stunning to a SandScapes faux finish in a rich brown like "curly willow" (# 7175). It would set off the light wood & the red + give it a warm feeling - kinda like a coffee shop.
