I have been looking for -ages- and all I seem to get are mixed reviews.

My price range is 100-300USD for a good camera.

I need Image Stabilization, a decent Macro Feature and ABOVE ALL ELSE HIGH QUALITY IMAGES IN POORER LIGHTING. Indoors and the like. I will be using it for closer face shots and family photos for sharing online.

I have have searched all over the place and I have started looking into Canon SD1000 and I was recommended Canon SD870. SD1000 does not have Image Stabilization though, and the main reason why I'm looking at canon so much is because there are so many to chose from it's hard to widen my search even further by searching for other brands! (I've spent so much time just comparing Canon)

I'll accept any brand though, as long as it has HIGH quality pictures at 100% resolution. Compact digital cameras only. Smaller the better.

  1. i'm using canon sd750 and it works well for me , especially the macro feature.

  2. Image stabilization is overrated.  the Canon SD1000 is a great camera for the price. And i've tried many types of cameras, fugi, nikon, kodak, HP(sh*t),and samsung.

    Canon is simply the best.
