Need help converting shoe sizes!!?

im a womens size 8.5 in australia.

if im buying shoes on ebay (in U.S.) sizes, what would be the mens size that would fit me? not womens, but mens - im buying sneakers and theyre all in male sizes

u think u aussies use UK sizes right? if so you'd want a 9.5 US
