  1. This makes it easiest to decide. Play 18 with the putter you have now(preferably on a Saturday morning). Once you finish go to the putting green and work on making short and long putts. After an hour, go directly to a golf store or pro shop where they sell all different kinds of putters and allow you to hit them on a surface inside. This will make it a lot easier for you. Just when you look at it at address you will like it or not. The worst thing that golfers do is go into a proshop before they warm up or even hit a few balls and start buying new stuff. That's how you run into problems. Because you really don't end up with something better for you, you just end up with something. To answer your other question Scotty Cameron are arguably the best putters on the market. They use the highest quality alloys and render them through a process that creates the purest metal alloys. This gives them exceptional feel and weight and also makes them look great at address.

  2. I've been in the market for a new putter myself.  I've included a link to Golf Digest's 2008 Hot List for putters if you're interested in what they have to say.

NOTE:  There are 6 pages to the link.  The putters that got a gold rating are listed first in alphabetical order.

  3. If you can afford to p**s your money away on a Scotty, be my guest. Titleist thanks you!

    I love my See More.

  4. i love never comprimise putters made by cleveland i have a voodo daddy and like it better than my friends 2 ball srt which is more than $100 more some can reach 300 but some are much cheaper

i would go with a mallet nc

  5. The S.C. are way overpriced.   The only way to choose a putter is to try a few.  I personnally hate mallet putters, but I do see how they could be good to help you line up.  They are also heavier, which should lead to stability in the putting stroke.

  6. Only one way to decide if a putter (or any other clubs) are right for you.

Try them! Don't look at the brand or whether it's the latest technology or anything like that 'cos that won't improve your game.

Does it feel right? Does it feel natural? Do you feel confident with it?

Most golf shops have a practice green of some sort. Use it! Spend as long as you like and try ALL the putters you can. One of them will do the business for you, and that's the one to buy. It might cost $10, it might cost $1,000, who cares. What counts is...

The ball making that satisfying sound as it drops into the hole!

  7. Anything Cameron, byron, c & l, etc, all great putters no doubt, but we forget,

a putter is not another club in the bag, but its an extension of urself.

its personal, it gives u confidence, and heart ache, its the difference between the winning the masters, and loosing sunday morning golf.

there a putter out there, for every type of player,

i say, try everything, and when you find the right one, ull just know.

remember, just cause its not a scotty, or betti, or even if its something u find in the trash,

doesnt mean its not the right putter for u.

Putting is about feel, about confidence, about u and ur game

not about the price, or brand

    Happy hunting   :)

  8. Odessy Black Series putter. Amazing!

Got it and I average about 30 putts a round.

  9. Cameron's are good, excellent balance and feel.  Will a new putter make you a better putter?  No, but sometimew when you get a new one you tend to want to use it so you play and practice more which will help you improve.  New equipment is always fun, but your score is not a result of the bows and arrows.

  10. Scotty Cameron is a good putter, but it cost too much, it doesn't worst that much. Maybe you should try a Rife putter, they are as good as Scoty Cameron, but much cheaper.

  11. I use scotty cameron and i am a low handicaper.i would reccomend the red x.its brill or the yes c groove putters.on the yes putter you can change the weights for the speed of the greens your playing on
