Well, 1st I uninstalled this thing called logon studio vista, basically it just changes your logoff background, but when I got rid off it, the logoff bakky I had set, is still there, like it hasn't gone back to the original background, and I uninstalled it once before, and the original bakky came back! =[

But this time it hasn't, this is why I don't think it is really gone, I've deleted it off program files, and uninstalled it.

BUT, one thing In the menu, there are like plain white filders named logon studio, and when I right click to delete them, they won't go, like it says, try again, how can I delete them?!?!

I also have this problem with other folders, like they won't delete, how can I get rid of them?

Thanks!

  1. Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

    http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant...

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan, just to see what it finds, if anything that shouldn't be there it will safely remove it.

You could also use a File Shredder to delete the folders:

http://cotojo.wordpress.com/2007/09/25/f... simply drag and drop them into the shredder, click on Shredder Settings on left and change it to Guttman Algorithm 35 passes then click OK and then Shred files/folders.

WARNING: Once deleted they cannot be recovered.

Also use RevoUninstaller....this will check Add/Remove Programs more efficiently than the Windows Add/Remove applet as it lists many more programs than Windows does:

    http://www.download.com/Revo-Uninstaller...

Simply run the program and look at ALL of the entries, click each one that needs to be removed, click uninstall and then select Advanced in Uninstall Mode Window, this will remove the program, then scan for any registry entries and leftover files/folders, delete only those that are in bold type.

These are all free programs not trials or time limited.

  2. Usually when files wont delete it is because part of that program is still running. Don't know vista, but if it still hask task manager have a look in there and see if there are any processes that may belong to this prog, stop them and then try to delete, this usually works with xp.

    Good luck with your problem.

  3. Re-install it, and then run Rev uninstaller, use the advanced uninstall mode.

  4. Let my (ex) girlfriend borrow it to play SanAndreas. She somehow managed to delete the registry while looking for my save games.

  5. Go to control panel and go to add/remove programs - if it still appears on this list then it is not uninstalled correctly.

Unfortunately with some third party software, they don't like you uninstalling their stuff so place hidden files so you're stuck with their products. Hope this helps xx

  6. 2 options

    1. find some permanent delete program over internet

    2. boot in to ur safe mode and delete the folder or file u want to.
