Ok i have 2 questions

1. Name 5 vibrating sources that produce sound

(So far i have mobile phone, tuning fork and guitar, correct me if i am wrong)

and then

2. How do these vibrations affect the air molecules

i think it refers to question 1

  2. Vibrating objects cause the air to vibrate as well, producing longitudinal waves (like if you pushed a slinky back and forth lengthwise). Thus, the air vibrates in a wave toward your ear, which causes your eardrum to vibrate as well, which causes some bones to vibrate, which transfers vibrations to some liquid, which vibrates tiny small hairs, which cause nerve impulses to be sent to your brain.
