Need help editing a video from a dvd camcorder!!! PLZ!!!?

Ok... me and a group of friends made a video for english class and we recorded it with a sony dvd camcoreder, thinking we could edit it with windows movie maker... as it turns out we couldn't! the dvd's format is not supported! i need help to convert it to a supported format such as avi! if it helps to know that when we were done recording we had to finalize the mini dvd, i dont know if that has anything to do with it. Please help! its due on monday, june 2nd!

  1. If you have a mini dvd camcorder….

    You will have to finalize your dvd in the camera and then put the dvd in your computer's DVD burner (top loading only) and then you will have to convert the files (I downloaded handbrake file converter free) and import them into your editing program. Use the HELP feature in your editing program to learn about editing. Once you are ready to burn, your project will be burned to a different DVD and you can file the original away.


  2. Get trial version of Ulead video studio (from www.Ulead .com) or Buy it.install it on P4 2.8GHz 1000MB RAM or faster PC.

    Capture it in AVI format ,editing is very user friendly and self explenatory.and finally goto SHARE and choose the way u want to final the product.for more help u may email me.So run
