How old is she?

A common reason for the older child is constipation.  Is your daughter eating fruits, vegetables, and whole grains?  Drinking enough water?

I'd go to the doctor,see if they can determine what's wrong.

You might look into encopresis, which is started by constipation and then the colon stretches out and stops sending "signals" that she should go to the bathroom.

Not enough information.  We need to know how old she is, what kind of things are going on in her house, and does she do this only at home?  Or outside the home, too?  Has she been sick?  Taken antibiotics?

How old is she? If she is 6 or under she can't hold it or would rather play.
