Need help finding a cable adapter?

My monitor has inputs: DVI and VGA

My cable box has outputs:RCA, regular cable COAX, and something called DATA (looks like VGA but only has two rows of pins).

I've tried every combination of these in yahoo search engine and don't find anything, if anyone could find me a store thanks.

  1. If your box has COMPONENT video (3 RCAs - Red, Green and Blue) - you can connect it to RGB.

  2. http://www.Diablocable.com

    Call: 1-800-377-8402

They are so smart about this stuff and can answer your questions! They are great

  3. Even if your cable box has "component" outputs (red, blue and green), an adapter cable won't work.  Even converted VGA signals require 5 RCA cables on the other end.

The only way such a cable would work is if your cable box had the "RGB" output with the "horizontal" and "vertical" jacks in addition to the "red, blue and green."
