Need help finding a car for my budget and needs..?

Hey there everyone! Im turning 18 soon and im about to get my first car. My budget is around 5,000.00. Im looking for a car thats good on gas, efficient and relatively fast. What would that car be? I have been seriously thinking of an acura integra. What do you guys say?

i would say yes just because gas is very expensive, and an acura does a pretty good job on gas.

Look for a VW Jetta TDI from 98-02.  Great cars, zippy, get around 50 mpg.

my goodness get some class boy, if ur asian get an integra. if not, then the only other cars to get are bmw 7 or 5 series.

do your research for the fuel. type in fuel consumption of .......... or .......... liters 100 km'h or whatever. but when u have a look at the car look at everything. test the speakers. take it for a drive. everything under the hood. everything man.

Honda cars are good.  I suggest the Honda jazz, or even the Toyota Yaris.   They are small and agile cars, aside from it being cheap and gas efficient

Do yourself a great favor. Really research for the facts and try not to pick based on emotion. Use the URLs below.

You can have a car for $5000, a good MPG car and a car that is relatively fast - pick two and only two of those three...the third factor will be the one you you can't have. This I do know. Shortly after the newness of having a car, you will want most: good MPG, low insurance and sound mechanical shape. You won't like a car you have to leave in the driveway no matter how good it looks. Getting from A to B will be more important than how you look in it or how fast it goes.
