Need help finding a cheap wii...?

I really want to get a wii but i don't want to pay big bucks for it. I don't really want a bundle pack but if you see any that are cheap (up to $300-$350) then let me know. I don't want to get involved with online contests that are probably scams like "click here to get a free wii!" because its really not free you need to participate in other events (some of which you pay for) and then you need to give out a whole bunch of information and im afraid of identity theft so don't talk me into participating in those events. any good quality stores that sell wii cheap please let me know... don't want a used one in case its broken or something. NO ORDERING ONLINE please!

thanks 10 points to best answer!

  1. Most stores should offer the basic package without the extras if not ask to pre order the console alone, though you will get a spam message guaranteed, as they are from bots that add there spam to any question with the word wii in it, they aren't posted manually, the only way to avoid them is not to include the word wii in your question, as its the wii section anyway we will know what your talking about so its not needed.

  2. there arent any bundles under 450 but the wii itself is only 250 really cheap for a next gen console(ps3,xbox 360) which are at least 450 when you throw in all the extra accesories, add a game and another controller for a family member and there you have it $350.for a wii total.

  3. Call around to the shops that usually have one and you'll be able to pay retail for one.  Wal Mart, Best Buy, and Game Crazy are all likely suspects.  My local Game Crazy was kind enough to call me when mine came in November, and our local Best Buy has a number to push when you call them.  "Press 5 for the latest Wii availability updates.  Press 6 to speak to customer service . . . "

I've seen used ones for $150 at a local used video game store and on facebook.  Technically it isn't "ordering online" when you go to the same school and can meet them at the student center to make the transaction, but of course that doesn't work for everyone.

Good luck!  It should take you less than a week to find one at retail price.  Just keep calling!  Early morning is best, as that's when they typically unload the trucks.  By afternoon, they can be sold out.
