Need help finding a computer program to help edit video from my sony handycam.?

I bought Adobe premiere elements 4.0, but my computer does not have enough memory. I tried using the windows movie manager on my computer, but that wont download to a dvd and freezes when I try to save to my computer. I want to create titles and credits on home made videos.

It sounds like it;s time to upgrade your computer...when editing videos, you need a powerful system that can trans code those large data files.

There comes Pinnacle,Ulead Video studio,Sony Vegas,Sonic DVD it.

For making full DVD you  will need atleast 12 Gb hard disk to capture one hour DV file.further more if your PC is less than Core 2 duo and 1GB Ram soon you will get tire to see the slow rendering process of hours.

Now if it is a 5 minute title only.it is no problem for most PCs
