Need help finding a wine

I'm looking for a really sweet fruity wine. A good started wine anyway. My friend hates the bitter taste of wine and i know that they make sweeter wines im just not sure what kinds to look for. any suggestions?

Your friend might like a white zinfandel.  They're actually pink, and more of a "party" wine than something that you'd serve to a serious wine drinker........

If going for white wine try any White Zinfandel or Riesling.

Be careful when choosing Riesling, that wine is also made as a dry or semi-sweet. The label will tell. If your friend does not like the dry wines stay away from Pinto Gris,Pinot Grigios and Chardonnays.

Sweet red wines are a bit harder to find. My first choice if wanting something a little fruity would be Beaujolais, or a Recioto della Valpolicello. There are also some nice "Ice" wines that may satisfy your desire for sweet wine.

White or Red Zinfendel, Rose, Sangria, Sauvingon Blanc are all personal favorites for sweet and/or fruity.

I would say either Riesling or one of the California "Symphony" or Muscat wines... most are very inexpensive, and very fruity/sweet.  they are generally classed as a desert wine, but can be very good.

Boones Farm Apple or Strawberry wine.

I can't stand the stuff it's so sweet. I drink cabernet sauvignon exclusively so my buds are tuned for the opposite flavors.

Most Chardonnays are pretty sweet. Read the labels for which fruits the drinker tastes (even though they're not contained in the wine). Apple, peach, and gooseberry tasting wines will be sweeter than those with tastes of lemon, grapefruit, grass, or mineral.

Often the cheapest wines are very sweet, too.

Most liquor stores are happy to help customers identify wines which suit their preferences, so don't hesitate to ask for a sweet, fruity wine for your friend who can't handle "heavier" wine yet.
