Need help finding an inmate?

I'm trying to look up an inmate. I have found the few charges on him BUT I haven't found the one I'm looking for nor can I navigate my around those stupid sites. It's someone in South Carolina. And the I have the place I'm pretty sure but I'm having a h**l of a time find what I need. So if somebody could help me out on how to find out where this persons at and etc. . .Jail should be in Sumter, SC

Have you tried calling the jail?  I know that sounds silly, but at ours, you can get any public information on anybody in there.

Some States have websites to find inmates.

I know Florida does.
