Need help finding more info on a cameo carved conch shell

I was given a beautiful carved conch shell which sits on a 3 3/4 inch by 2 3/4 inch base. The carving is a cameo of a women with intricate flowers. I have searched the web and have been unsuccessful in finding any information on it's background or worth. Can anyone direct me to a site which may be helpful?

You may not find the exact same carving unless you find an expert or book on the subject.  But you can get an idea of the approximate worth by doing a search. Perhaps you need to try rearranging your phrasing while you search like below:
