throwing a 50th b-day party for my mom. The DJ needs to know what kind of music he should be playing. Does anyone know what he can play that isn't rap, hard rock, to booty shacking, country or just anything in poor taste. Please help.

  1. Classic Rock

    Beach Boys

    A mixtuure of 60's and 70's music

    Jimmy Buffett

  2. jimmy buffet and the beach boys.

  3. I really like Hapa, Bruddah Iz and The Makaha Sons.  They are all authentic Hawaiian Music bands and don't sound too cheezy.

    Check out daStore.com Music

    http://www.dastore.com/c-13-hawaiian-mus...

    And mele.com

    http://www.mele.com

I have purchased from both sites with great success but prefer daStore.com because they have narrowed the selection down to great music and picking this stuff can be pretty daunting.

Both sites also have music samples if you want to have a listen before you buy.

    Hope that helps.

  4. since she is 50, I would say to tell him anything from the 70s or 80s would be good for her group.

But definitely go with the beach boys and Jimmy Buffet for luau type stuff, maybe a little reggae in there too!
