Need help finding out what this bug is?

while i was helping my uncle weeding his rock wall i felt a sting on my arm. it was a green bug with a black dot on its back. it looked like it was wearing cloths. i don't know what kind of bug it was. i need help. here's a link for the picture of it.

  1. The Saddleback Caterpillar, Sibine stimulea. These caterpillars have a pair of fleshy "horns" at either end, and these, like much of the body, bear urticating hairs that secrete an irritating venom. Stings can be very painful. They can cause swelling, nausea, and leave a rash that can last for days.

    If you come in contact with the stinging hairs, the experience is much like a bee sting. To remove the hairs quickly, place a piece of cellophane tape (or whatever kind of tape you have at hand) over the spot and remove it quickly - the hairs will stick to the tape. The sooner you do this, the less effect the sting will have.

  4. I cannot tell you what it is, but it sure is a pretty critter, insect, alien..or the sort.  I hope someone knows...I have never seen one of those in Michigan.  I hope you are saving it just in case.  But, man what a awesome looking bug and great pic of it.
