  1. Dear Collette,

It is always exciting to find people who are interested in learning more about their family history.

I was able to locate your great-grandmother, Cora on the passenger list into New York from Rotterdam in 1908.  She travelled with her mother, Aarkje, and her younger brother, Karel.  The passenger list contains information about their ages and birthplaces.  It also contains the name and address of their nearest relative in Holland, Aarkje's father, and the name and address of the person they were coming to in the United States, Cora's father.

I was also able to locate the family in the 1910 United States Federal Census.  Cora is listed there with both her parents, her brother, and a new baby brother, born in the United States.

I am happy to send copies of both of these documents.  If you are interested let me know.

    Best Regards,

  2. Do you have her birth and death dates?  What was her married name?

To find her parents you may need to enlist the help of a Dutch genealogist.
