  2. any amp that has about 1000watts RMS @ the correct impedance (ohms) and is also CEA -compliant

with those subs (DVC 4ohms) you can get impedances of 1 or 4ohms, here are your wiring options for differnt impedances http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer...

    so.... 1000watts RMS @ 1 or 4ohms CEA-compliant

the subs will sound cleaner at 4ohms than at 1ohm but will cost more to power them because of the impedance: if you go with 1ohm you would need a Fosgate amp because Kicker amps are not stable below 2ohms

here are the top CEA-complaint brands (you are safe with any of these amps)

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    MTX

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony

here is the fosgate amp that you would need http://sonicelectronix.com/item_2809_Roc...

or two of these kicker amps http://sonicelectronix.com/item_6590_Kic...
