Need help finding the equation of a line tangent to parabola...?

I need help finding the equation of the line tangent to the parabola f(x)=x^2+3x.

They intersect at (-2, -2).

I think its y= -x-4 but thats just from using the slope of the tangent line (-1) and the coordinates (-2,-2).

  1. It looks like you got it down.  The slope will be the derivative of the equation.  Point slope form will get your answer.  You don't need help.
