Need help for 2 12' 4ohm alpine type r's at 500 watt rms for each sub.?

Would the Soundstream PCX1000D wired at 1 ohm do the trick? And has anyone had any expierence with soundstream and know the quality? I dont want to spend 600 dollars on an amp. This would be wired parallel parallel correct? thanks much.

you are correct parallel parallel to get 1ohm

Soundstream is a decent amp, but I can't picture how you would wire it @ 1 ohm. 2 4 ohm speakers in parallel would be 800 watts @ 2 ohm, and that should be plenty power.
