  1. Here's an idea:

I'm assuming that you will be using photography?  Okay, if you own a digital camera, go out and do some scouting.  Find textures on walls, like brick, stucco, etc.  Take with you a few bottles of poster paint or cheap tempera.  When you find a nicely textured wall in an alley or maybe even a putting green on a golf course, pour a puddle of the tempera paint into a shallow paint pan and plop your right hand into the color.  Imprint your handprint onto the surface.  Use a bright contrasting color and photograph your handprint on the textured surface. Make it look accidental.

Shoot a group of these different textures with different handprint colors.

Download them from your camera and open them in Photoshop. Define a large work area in PS and create a textural "montage" of your photos.  Put each on and different layer and different location so you can brush erase the edges to make them blend and transition together.

Refer to the following article so you can see what sort of effect you might be going for. Similar to the ancient images of the Caves of Lascaux.

Good luck! Is this worth a recommendation?
