  1. Your local sixth form or college should do a course in "child care/child development"

Child Care is like a GNVQ qualification so you work on the job

and child development is coursework based.

Once qualifing in child care (GNVQ) you become a registered nursery nurse. You can then use this qualification to become a nursery nurse or another proffession with under 6's. Or you can go to university and study teaching. This will enable you to be a primary school teacher :)

Good luck and all the best xx

  2. You can do a degree in Primary Education.

You need good qualifications in Maths and English to get into such a course and have a lot of experience with children. (They will often interview you to decide how suitable you are for the profession before giving you a place on the course.)

Check available courses at a lot of universities.

  3. gcses really dont matter, its a levels mostly- pick the subjects yuo enjoy and ones you think you could take to alevel. You'll have to go to uni, whichc will be 3 years on any course you like (though somehting academic might be better- hisotry, geography, business. etc.) and then take a postgrad called a PGCE, this is the most common route and if you do not take a gap year, you will be fully qualified by the time yuo're 22. I recommend english. amths, and double science, becuase the basic requirements normally include A-C grades at GCSE in these subjects.
