Need help for traveling Europe?

Okay so my friend and I are planning on traveling Europe. Specifically we want to go to France, Germany, Greece and Italy. We want to spend 2 weeks in each country, and we were wondering how much exactly our total will be...for the flights, hotels, and extra spending. If anyone has experience with multiple city travel I would love it if you could give me and estimate total.

Thanks

  1. Well we would have to be travel agents to be able to do estimates for you, its too difficult to tell but here are some tips.

You can travel by Euro Rail.  You can get like a 2 month unlimites pass I think.

You can travel by coach...I think thats pretty cheap, like Busabout I think is a company

EasyJet, Ryanair are cheap european airlines, check for sales and discounts, but only EasyJet flies to Greece (Athens only).

In regards to where to stay you can check out Youth Hostel Association YHA they are certified nice clean and safe hostels.....I doubt there will be any if Greece (maybe only in Athens)  but if you go to the islands, all the accom there is nice and clean and safe (I live here)

Renting a car might be fun...an adventure...check it out on like a major website like Hertz.  I'm sure they'd have info on multi border crossing and licence and passport info on there even if you dont use them.

BUT make sure you have ALL your info...like passport scans, drivers licence scans, any medical info, booking info, online banking info, important numbers all that ****, in 2-3 safe places.  ie....in your email account...like send an email to yourself with all that info in that way it is always accessible wherever you are and safely.  Or maybe programed into your phone (maybe a bit risky if its stolen)  printed out and brought with you?  With a relative at home?  Best bet is the email.  thats always safe, and there.

Because trust me, you are always going to need that info!!

  2. Depends on what type of accommodation you use.

  3. I'm doing a 4 city Europe tour for 11 days that includes airfare, breakfasts, select entrances, transfers, tour director and all that for $2300.. So it depends on whether you choose nice hotels, hostels, etc.
