Need help. gettin into kayaking?

is this a good kayak to start out with?

i will use mostley on a calm river with the ocasionall rapid section . if not then wich would you recomend. are sit ons any good? for what purpose? just looking for some help to get started

if you need it to help me im 16 like 160lbs and like 5ft8 or around there
