Need help headphone problems!!

my headphone play normal mucis and stuff in windows media player but no other sound like normal windows sound or virus update sound x fire ect...... this only happend after i upgraded from xp to vista but i have latest sound driver installed

plz help!!!

  1. go to control panel enable system sounds.


  2. Get new headphones.
