Is their any way to block unwanted phone calls that I receive at my home phone number?

we have caller I.D. and I want to block any and all calls that show up on it as: "out of area", "unavabile" things like that.

any help would be appreactied.

If you have AT&T, just call them up and ask for the "privacy manager" feature.   It screens all calls that come up "unavailable, out-of-area, etc". The caller will have to say who they are before you accept their call.   Its well worth the small monthly charge.
