Need help identifying a pet bird

This bird is in the parrot family with a decent whistling mimic ability he had gorgeous red eyes a white belly (although he may have been molting) and multi colored feathers of Green yellow (mostly) and red he was very playful and liked to hang upside down (don't know if that helps) If you could narrow it down to a few breeds that would help ty

I have three of those buggers. It's a caique.

Caiques are the ONLY parrot besides a cockatoo that have white feathers. Not only do they whistle, but they will make the most endearing sounds you'll ever hear a parrot make. They laugh.

The most likely scenario here is where two sperate breeds of amazon have been kept together and they have bred.  The resulting offspring is then a hybrid showing multiple colours and due to this, at the age when the feathers are starting to show, the parents have rejected it as they don't recognise it as their own.  The chick has then been handreared and sold on as a hybrid but due to the multitude of colours, has had its value raised, or worse, sold as a made up species.

Maybe a cun conure.  But I don't think conures have any white on them???

well i have a blue fronted amazon!  The best way to find out what kind of bird you have is to take it to the vets.  There they can run a blood test to see what kind of bird it is.
