Need help identifying insect infestation: bed bugs or other?

Question

These bugs will bite with a sharp pinch, when looking on the bed sheets, there will be a black spec:

They do not crawl/at least I haven't seen them crawl. I've only seen one hop off something once; otherwise, they will always be still.

I will also wake up with something crawling in my nose, ears or mouth, but do not see a visible sign of insects in that scenario. A sensation of something crawling in my hair during the day and a tremendous itching sensation on my back at any time of the day are also present..

I don't know if these are two different bugs, i.e. some type of flea, bedbug and/or (invisible to the eye) mytes - but between myself, apartment management and an exterminator; over three dozen applications of insecticides have not killed whatever they are.

Any help appreciated.

I had a horrible time with something similar. I could not get rid of them.  They were invisible.They probably live in the carpet, can get into clothes, everything. You may need to replace all underwear and clothes. Carpets must go. I got rid of my carpets and installed pergo. It helped to get rid of them. I had very good luck with 'Do your own pest control'  ultracide product insecticide. I found it on the internet.  Leave your home for a few days and SPRAY--- be careful with animals---of course get them out, too.

Also a life saver was 'Natural Ginesis" Kleen Green..expensive but it lasts along time. Again look up on internet. These people are wonderful and understanding! I am still paronoid and will never be without it.

Yes, could be a flea infestation, but I was not completely convinced of this.

Suggest that you do treat animals with Frontline or similar as well. GOOD LUCK.
