Need help identifying this insect?

i just need to know what kinda bug this is; i found it in my lil brothers room and he's been wakin up with bites and he wants me to find out what this thing is exactly if its harmless or not and all the helpful things a kid needs to know to be calmed down......so any help on this thing is appreciated.....if you dont know please to post any responses

This is what comes up on the screen....even when we are logged in:

.....go into your photos and edit it so it can be viewed by public, you don't have to have all your photos for public view, just go to the pic and choose the option to have it viewed by public and we can see it.   that way we can help you to identify it.

didn't see the picture but sounds like bed bug take off the mattress cover and look along the mattress's seams  what you are looking for is specks of pepper like spots (dried blood excrement )and look along the seams of the box spring and those plastic edge covers for the black specks also look for the insects themselves.google bed bugs and see if these match up to what you have
