We have two live oak trees in our backyard. We noticed tonight that there are spots of white webbing on the bark of the trees. No, it is not on any of the leaves and we looked to see if we could spot any bugs in the webbing and couldn't. It's very thick, to the point that you can't see the bark through the web. Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it. We live in South Texas.

  1. I think webworm may be your problem. In the past I have cut the infected branches off the tree. If it is a large area you may need to spray.
