Need help with importing videos?

I have a sony cyber-shot camera. I have about 7 videos all in a row, im trying to import it but no luck. It says redundant cyclic error, something like that. How can I upload them to my pc? please help will give 10 points. My computer does not have a memory card slot. I use a usb cord.

  1. Windows movie maker does not work with wmm.

    wmm supports these files....

    Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma

    Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf

    Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

    OR

    Get a card reader, they are cheap and very handy to use. You would put the card from your camera in the reader and open the reader as a drive in MyComputer, then also open MyDocuments/MyVideos and drag and drop or copy and paste your videos into the file.

    You will need a better editing program to read those files. I use Pinacle Studio 11 ultimate. (not free).


  2. Is the error something about a cyclic redundancy check?   Have you tried just copying the files using Windows Explorer?
