Need help in Assassin's Creed?

Question

I'm playing Assassin's Creed, but in some places when i walk ( city of Damascus) there is blue screen which cannot let me pass by.. When I try there is written "there is some error, memory cannot be access at this time"

Is it normal or is it with my game only?

the blue screen means that you cannot pass at your current mission but you will be able to go there later.
