Need help in counter strike source?

steam rejected , that msg appears to me when i try to play online in counter strike source 2.5

how can i fix that , and why ?

First close steam then,

Try deleting your ClientRegistry.blob file in your steam folder its usually located at c:\program files\steam\

Then start steam again

If this doesn't work then the server maybe having problems.

When you installed counter strike did you install both disc'c. That game requires you to play only on that games platform. I would remove it and install it again. Its been a few years since I played it
