  1. 2 weeks is not long . Australia is huge so you will need to decide what part you want to see. You could fly into Sydney have a couple of days there then get a hire car and fly out of Brisbane. this way you can have a look at part of the east coast . you would want a few nights on the Gold Coast then the Sunshine Coast just north of Brisbane where you can visit Australia Zoo home of the Irwins. There is a huge amount of beaches and on the gold coast and the Sunshine coast you can visit theme parks, the hinterland, glass house Mountains a very unique village called Montville, Noosa and plenty more. Or you could fly into Cairns and get a hire car or camper and drive down to Brisbane. This way you would get to see the Barrier reef. The tropics ,Airlie beach where you can sail around The Whitsunday islands. If you don't want to get a hire car just fly to brisbane and get public transport to the vaste amount of places such as The Gold Coast .

  2. If you are coming to Sydney, staying in the city could be expensive. It could help your pocket if you stay a litle further out from the main city.

The nicest places to see are definatly the normal Harbour Bridge, which you can climb as well as the operah house. Apart from that, you can take a walk around The Rocks.. its beautiful, full of old sydney heritage listed buildings. For the best view of our city harbour, take a bus to Lady Maquaries Chair, which is right near the Sydney Art Museum. If you want to experience a little out of the ordinary, head to areas like Newtown, Rozelle etc, to experince more of a trendy, uni student vibe. A little hint, the further out of the city you go, the more boring it becomes, unless your doing The Coastal Shores.. or the Outback,

  3. well someone already told you about sydney so i'll let you know about the state of qld. This state is the hotter one as in temp. Its main city is Brisbane which is a funky smaller beachy kinda city. Up about 2 hours from brisbane is australia zoo which is super cool but i'm bias as I love animals and work with them. And all around this area called the sunshine coast is beach and surf. So you like that you gotta stay up there. Although its quiet beach. If you want louder, fun and night life near a beach the gold coast is the place to go. Many tourists visit thisplace as it is pretty cool and it has most of australias theme parks within 20 mins. I would definitly reccomend it.

Then theres north qld. Its really hot up there but its a backpacker mecca. At townsville and up furthur in carins (airlie beach in particular) heaps of tourists and its just gorgeous. Used to live up there. Now if you like your scuba and snorkeling this is the place to go. Its on the barrier reef. Best reef in the world. Absolutley awsome. Also have everything you can imagine for water sports. jet skiing, fishing, boating, canoeing but no surfing as theres a reef and no break. Also has awsome rainforrest if you like that kinda thing caled the daintree. You can either relax on the beach in the sun or even canoe over to the small islands.

Anyways i love qld but it's a really cool area if you like the sun and surf. Hope that helps

  4. Australia Zoo is at Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.  If you only have 2 weeks then I suggest basing on the Sunshine Coast, that way you can see the Gold Coast 2 hours south, and up to The Great Barrier Reef north.   Have you thought of booking a package deal?  Or hire a campervan, there are loads of beautiful caravan parks and national parks. Check out websites below.

I'm sure you'll want to come back and see the rest of our great country.
