  1. If light travels at 2.9979x10^8 meters per second, then it takes 1/c, or  3.33567x10^-11 seconds to travel one meter and 1/c/100 or 3.33567x10-13 seconds to travel one centimeter, or one jiffy.

    a. 3.33567x10-13 seconds to do the task in a jiffy

    b. 1/jiffy, or 2.9979x10^12 jiffies per second, or 1.7987x10^14 jiffies in a minute.
