Need help installiong BF2142?

Ok, so I just built a new gaming computer, everything is fine and I have Vista x64 Ultimate installed. I have an old copy of my ea downloader from about a year ago with the data saved on it to install my stuff. So when I go to install 2142 I get this error

please insert disk 1, retry?

there is no disk because its from EA Downloader, I tried installing a copy of one from a torrent site to see if it can install on this OS and hardware and it did fine so its not the PC. Anyopne know what it could be?

The disk error would mean that its trying to access the vista disk and theres not one.

Usualy when you download vista from microsofts website its in iso format and this is then put to disk using nero.
