Need help!! is it a good idea to move to pr from the states, not knowing spanish ?

my bf is from there he wants to move to pr, he wants me to try to go to school (community college) but will there be a huge problem cuz i dont know spanish

If you stay around Spanish-speaking people, and learn only a few words every day, you will pick up the language fast enough. I would suggest that you start NOW.

Be sure to enroll in a Spanish class.  If your a guy, meet one of those beautiful Puerto Rican women and she willl help you learn the art of speaking love in Spanish.  If you are a gal meet one those Puerto Rican men.

Yes, school is definitly harder when you don´t know the language, but it might be fun...

Well  college  books  are ussually in english  so  that's not going to be so difficult....  must Puertoricans  understand English which is  taught since kindergarden in school  but  are afraid  to speak it.

It all depends  on How  are You going  to  feel in Puerto Rico  without Your Family nor  friends...
