My restaurant does gourmet soups and salads, and also grills awesome burgers. Average check will be about $8.00. My name is William, and I"d like to incorporate that into the name if I can. Some examples I've narrowed it down to are... William's Gourmet Grill or William's Gourmet Kitchen. Which of those two would you use and WHY? Also if you have any other creative ideas that would be great. Thanks.

  1. How about........."Will's soups, salads & signiture grill".

  2. Don't use the word "Gourmet" that will chase customers away a lot of times. I see the word Gourmet and I won't go in cause I relate that with high prices.

Choose a name that is easy to remember. I wouldn't choose either for two reason's, one I mentioned above. And two, too long a name to remember. How about "Bill's Grill"

  3. A Grill with Bill

That would get you at the top of the yellow pages or any search since it starts with A.

  4. "Bill's Grill" but that mainly describes the burger part.

You could grill vegetables for the soups & salads too.

Gourmet doesn't really fit the $8 image, I expect to pay more.

    Would "Gourilliam's" be too corny?

  5. Don't use gourmet.  How long do you want to stay in business?  You can use your first name, William's by itself or your last name or William's Eatery, William's Restaurant.  Most people will call it by William's but it will appear under restaurants in searches.

Look over the names of restaurants in your area and see what they call themselves so you don't pick a name that will be confused with another place.

  6. i like the gourmet grill one cause it sounds more approchable and appropriate for a place with a $8 bill average. and if the burgers are really awesome then people should know that its a grill.

  7. willy jackson's    - it'll catch on as long as the food and idea are fresh (which the idea is)

"A soup, salad, burger combination that can't be beat for only 8 dollars"

  8. I agree with sowseeds about the word gourmet in your name. What about just something like "Willy's grille and tavern"

  9. will , no disrespect, is it about what you serve or you. or simply "gourmet grill by will.' then advertise your menu. however if your a small local, in a res. neighborhood, most people would already know about you, your product and ser. Hope this helps. Good luck and much success.

  10. wetwilly burger or willyburger.................. we had an oldwoman( dyes grocery/bar) in our town who fried burgers in her store/bar we called them jennyburgers they were great also jennyburger  meant a good cold beer

  11. 8 BUCK "WILLY'S"

    8    at  "WILLY'S"

  12. Out of your two I'd go with William's Gourmet Grill because it says you have great burgers. I'd pick that especially if your customers like your burgers mopre than your soups and salads. If its the other way around, I'd go with your other choice.

    My suggestions:

    Will's Gourmet Grill

    William's Pavillion

    William's Grill and Pavillion

William's (just your name....like Wendy's fast food restaurant)

    8 Buck Burgers

    Salads and Soups for 8

    WIlliam's 8 Dollar Grill

Billiam's Burger's (not exactly your name though)

    Hope this was help!!!

Good luck with your new restaurant!!!!    :D

  13. How about Williams Kitchen? or Williams Deli/Grill?  Good luck...sounds like a nice spot......

  14. If there were 2 restraunts each with one of your choices then I would go with William's Gourmet Grill.

  15. willy 8 here. just don't call it Sam and Ellas.
