I am opening a restaurant in a few months and I need help coming up with a name. It will be located on Pine St. in Long Beach, CA in an old converted bank. It is very large and has lots of character. We will be serving French cuisine. Any suggestion? Thanks!!

  1. How about "Le Banque " ?

  2. The Vault

    Pepe Pine

    à jamais

Really we should know more info like what kind of Restaurant is it? Fine Dining, Casual Dining? Fast Casual?

Who are your target customers or what is your positioning?

Is your place for young trendy hipsters, corporate  lunch meetings or a romantic night out for couples in their 50's?

While Pepe Pine might be a great name for hipster fast casual place, à jamais (forever) might be a better name for a romantic fine dining place for baby boomers.

More important than a cool name  is it that resonates with your target market and expresses what your company is about. For example TGI Fridays, fun place to go to get away from the work week or Starbucks (taken from Moby d**k), shows a place for educated people who want to be seen as such and relate to everything that the young hipster coastal city of Seatle represents.

Good Luck, let us know what you use!
