Need help oil leaking on to Honda's spark plugs.?

We own a couple of Honda accords a 91 and 96, both of the cars have oil going to the spark plugs the 91 has 2 leaks on the spark plugs and the 96 has all four, does any body knows what could be the problem and what do I need to do to fix it.I have replace the valve cover gasket and grommets but still leaking, thanks for your answers.

  1. i had the same problem i bought a valve cover gasket set from auto zone and it comes with some small round seals that go around the spark plug holes on the valve cover very easy to change and no more oil in the spark plug holes


  2. your tube seals are leaking. replace them and the valve cover gasket. should only cost about $20. just remove the valve cover and you will see the tube seals. put silicone on them to help hold them in the valve cover.  

  3. the head or valve cover could be cracked.or maybe you didnt tighten the cover down properly.check where the oil si coming from.

  4. you may have excessive pressure pushing the oil through the valve cover gasket and grommets.  Check all your air passages that allow the engine to breathe.  Make sure none of them are stopped up.

  5. i had bad rings and somehow that got oil into them. not sure how but it did.
