Need help on Socio paper!!!?

Question

I am writing a soc. paper on voluntary deviant appearances (ie mohawks, outrageous clothing styles, over-done makeup, etc.) and how the general public reacts to these individuals. But I cannot seem to find any academic research studies on such deviance. I MUST have a cited bibliography and I can't find anything worth using to beef up my paper. Can anyone help me out?

Check this out.  It is a paper that you can use and it also mentions other studies where you can extract more information.  Here is a quick excerpt so you don't waste your time if it isn't what you are looking for:

It is difficult to find studies on actual research into society's reactions to deviance. Most of it seems to be theoretical. Be sure to look mostly into sites with .edu or .org. These are generally more accurate.
