Need help on a amp kit?

i had a 10 gauge amp kit in my car all ready and bought a new amp 40 amp fuse on the amp and a 30 amp in line fuse on the wire will this harm my equipment cuz i really dont wanna re wire ?

10 Gauge is only rated for 30 amp... which isn't going to be an issue for you since your line fuse is 30 amp too...  You should be okay...  but if you start popping that line fuse you will want to upgrade your line and line fuse.
