I wan't to buy a mini classic - the old fashioned ones - not the new ones. I don't know anythin about cars . I know that it isnt good to buy an old car - but i really want one! - what should i look out for in an old car that might spell trouble ? Also , i live in the Uk , does anyone know any classic mini specialist stores ? Don't know wher to find one.

And if anyone owns one , could you tell me , are they expensive because of their age , or are they cheaper ?

Thanks !

  1. I only have experience with new MINIs across the pond.  However a good place to start would be to contact a local mini/MINI club near your location.  See the groups and their web sites via the map at the following link.

  2. they are nearly impossible to find.

they are considered a "classic" and collectors are buying them up.

the ones you find that need repairs are very expensive to fix.

best bet is to buy a new one and enjoy the benefits of modern technology in the shape of the past.
